-
"Our Vet staff analyzing samples of skin on some of our fish, to avoid any bacterial, parasitic or fungus problems."
- CATFISH AQUARIUM has always believed having a LARGE IN-STOCK INVENTORY is essential to our business success. Throughout the year, the Amazon River with its many tributaries, has seasonal high and low water levels, that effects the collecting of tropical fish.
- With that in consideration, we built our facilities, with hundreds of aquariums and holding vats, so we could take advantage of the more challenging times when collecting our fish. We work with a professional team of collectors, who bring new fish to our facility every day.
- We are currently, finishing the construction and installation of our NEW FACILITIES, which will have the capacity to hold over 600 double-boxes of fish on hand, at any one time. Our new modern facilities along with our professional highly qualified staff are the core of our business operations.
ENVIRONMENT ENGAGEMENTS
- The environment suffers constant damage every day, going from the contamination of the essential elements for life, to the extinction of many species of flora and fauna.
- For this reason, CATFISH AQUARIUM has been promoting and investing in conservation and environmental education projects on varies species, such as the Giant River Turtles (Podocnemis expansa), Yellow-Spotted River Turtles (Podocenemis unifilis), Mata Mata Turtles (Chelus fimbriatus), Arapaima gigas, and the Black Caiman (Caiman niger), some of which, whose number of individuals were on the edge of extinction in the past and now thankfully, they are gradually recovering
